About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Video Data Quality Inspector to join our Embodied AI data operations team.
In this role, you will review video data collected using AR devices and ensure that every video meets the required quality standards before being approved for use in AI training. You will work closely with the Video Data Collection team to identify defects, document quality issues, and help improve the overall quality of collected data.
This position is suitable for candidates who are comfortable working with repetitive data-review tasks, detailed guidelines, quality inspection, and computer-based workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
Review AR-device video data based on established Quality Inspection Guidelines, SOPs, and project requirements.
Verify that videos are valid, complete, clear, correctly identified, and meet the required task, scene, capture, and metadata standards.
Approve qualified video data and accurately record inspection results, defects, and corrective actions.
Complete a minimum of 6 hours of valid and approved video review output within an 8-hour working day, while maintaining the required quality standards.
Identify recurring defects, unclear requirements, safety concerns, privacy issues, and other data-quality risks.
Escalate unclear or critical issues to the appropriate team lead.
Participate in weekly meetings with the Video Data Collection team to discuss quality findings and provide evidence-based feedback.
Work collaboratively with internal teams to reduce recurring defects, rework, and data-quality issues.
Maintain confidentiality of project information and video data.
Follow all approved data-handling procedures, workplace rules, and on-site safety requirements.
Requirements:
Minimum Diploma (D3) or Bachelor's degree (S1) in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Operations, Quality Management, Information Systems, Media Technology, or a related field.
Candidates with relevant practical experience may also be considered.
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy when reviewing repetitive video content for extended periods.
Able to understand and consistently follow detailed guidelines, SOPs, and acceptance criteria.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify defects, assess their severity, and document findings clearly.
Comfortable using computers, video-review tools, spreadsheets, forms, and basic digital workflows.
Experience in data collection, data annotation, video QA, quality control, operations, retail, logistics, or data analysis is an advantage.
Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
Reliable, punctual, honest, and comfortable working with feedback and cross-functional teams.
High level of integrity and awareness of confidentiality, data privacy, and workplace safety.
What We’re Looking For:
We value candidates who are:
Detail-oriented and consistent
Patient and focused when performing repetitive review tasks
Analytical and able to identify patterns and recurring issues
Disciplined in following SOPs and quality standards
Responsible with confidential data
Open to feedback and willing to collaborate with operational teams
What Success Looks Like:
Success in this role means consistently making accurate, traceable, and well-documented quality decisions while meeting the daily review target.
You will also contribute to reducing repeated defects and rework by providing clear, evidence-based feedback to the Video Data Collection team.
Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for the next stage of the recruitment process.
