COPYWRITER — Social Media Intern (Unpaid)

About the role

Develop ideas and concepts for social media content, particularly for Instagram and TikTok. Create scripts for video content, including hooks, storytelling, and calls-to-action aligned with brand character. Produce copywriting for various content needs such as captions, headlines, taglines, and promotional content. Research trends, topics, communication styles, and content formats to generate engaging ideas and writing. Adapt writing style to match tone of voice, target audience, and objectives for each brand. Help develop raw ideas into structured concepts and production-ready scripts.

Key responsibilities

• Develop ideas and concepts for social media content, particularly Instagram and TikTok

• Write and develop scripts for video content, including hooks, storytelling, and calls-to-action aligned with brand character

• Create copywriting for captions, headlines, taglines, and promotional content

• Research trends, topics, communication styles, and content formats to generate engaging ideas

• Adapt writing style to match tone of voice, target audience, and brand objectives

• Develop raw ideas into structured concepts and production-ready scripts

About you

• Active user of Instagram, TikTok, and other social media platforms with understanding of trends and content characteristics

• Able to create engaging, relatable writing with strong storytelling

• Understand copywriting fundamentals including hooks, calls-to-action, headlines, and persuasive copy

• Creative, proactive, communicative, and able to work with deadlines

• Portfolio of writing, scripts, copywriting, or other creative writing work is a plus
