Chemist (DUMAI)

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct analysis of incoming raw materials (CPO, CPKO, bleaching earth, etc.).

• Perform analysis of refinery process samples, fractionation, and finished products according to company quality standards.

• Carry out utility sample testing such as wastewater, cooling tower water, boiler water, and others.

• Maintain accurate records of all analysis results in logbooks/lab systems.

• Be responsible for managing laboratory inventory and ensuring availability of chemicals, equipment, and consumables.

• Ensure laboratory cleanliness, orderliness, and safety in accordance with SOPs.

Qualifications:

• Minimum S1 in Chemistry, Chemical Analysis, or related field.

• Previous 3 years experience in a laboratory environment (especially in palm oil, edible oil, or chemical industry) is an advantage. Fresh Graduated are welcome to apply

• Skilled in laboratory analysis techniques (titration, GC, HPLC, spectrophotometer, etc.).

• Strong attention to detail, discipline, and accuracy.

• Good understanding of Quality, Safety, and Good Laboratory Practice (GLP).

• Willing to work in shifts if required.
