Business Partnership - Indonesian Olympiad Battle

About the role

IOB is looking for a Business Partnership professional to expand our network of schools, universities, educational institutions, government organizations, and other strategic partners across Indonesia. You will identify and develop partnership opportunities that help IOB expand its Olympiad programs, reach more students, and create new educational initiatives. Partnerships may include organizing IOB competitions at schools or university campuses, developing city or regional competition programs with government institutions, establishing universities as academic partners, or collaborating with education providers on syllabus, curriculum, question development, and other academic initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop potential partnerships with schools, universities, education providers, government institutions, and other organizations.
• Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and institutional partners.
• Initiate partnership discussions, meetings, and presentations.
• Develop partnership proposals and collaboration models based on partner needs.
• Negotiate and close partnership opportunities in coordination with IOB management.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure successful partnership implementation.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing partners and explore opportunities for further collaboration.
• Monitor partnership performance and provide regular updates to management.

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Management, Education, or a related field.
• 2–4+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, sales, institutional relations, or a related field.
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Proven ability to develop and maintain B2B or institutional relationships.
• Proactive, target-oriented, and comfortable initiating conversations with new organizations.
• Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple partnership opportunities.
• Willing to travel for meetings and partnership activities when required.
• Existing network within schools, universities, education institutions, or government (preferred).
• Experience working in education, EdTech, academic competitions, or related industries (preferred).
