Business Development Manager (Freight Forwarding)

PT Dinamika Expressindo is a trusted freight forwarding company in Indonesia, established in 1991. As one dedicated team, we provide comprehensive logistics solutions across international shipping — including land, sea, air, customs clearance, transportation, and warehousing services.

We are currently seeking a Sales Manager to lead our team and grow together with us at our Jakarta Branch Office.

Requirements:

• Minimum Bachelor Degree

• Proven work experience min 3 years in shipping company / Airlines / GSA shipping.

• Be a brand ambassador to reflect company values and all available services

• Broad knowledge of forwarding and logistics industry covering sea, air, land, warehouse and distribution

• Strong knowledge in setting up Sales Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• Have strong verbal and written communication skills, English is a must, Mandarin is plus point

• Proven experience in planning and implementing sales strategies

• Trustworthy and proven ability to successfully lead a sales team

• Have strong decision-making and problem-solving skills

• Have result-focused attitude

• Willing to Work From Office at Jakarta Office

Job Descriptions:

• Identify and secure new business opportunities across domestic & international routes

• Maintain existing customers and secure new customers

• Plan and execute effective marketing strategies to exceed revenue targets.

• Lead and guide the sales team to ensure optimal performance.

• Respond to customers’ inquiry on rates and services with professionalism and excellence

• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers, agents, and partners.

• Coordinate with operations and other departments to ensure smooth cargo handling and delivery

• Monitor team performance and report to directors

• Provide feedback to headquarters and take action based on market insights.
