Business Development Junior Associate - Paylater

About the role

This role involves acquiring, liaising and maintaining relationships with local merchants. You will provide merchant training on Indodana product knowledge, merchant dashboard, and basic tax processes. You will propose and drive implementation for new and recurring merchant programs to boost company top line metrics, and deal with merchants to support program promotion, media communication placement and sales improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Acquire, liaise and maintain relationships with local merchants

• Provide merchant training on Indodana product knowledge, merchant dashboard, and basic tax process

• Propose and drive implementation for new and recurring merchant programs to boost company top line metrics

• Support program promotion, media communication placement and sales improvement with merchants

• Identify, research and maintain relationships with merchants

• Analyze market updates and develop sales programs based on customer demand, business expansion, trends and competitor activity

• Research ways to increase the value of products for clients, including missing features, improvements and client feedback

• Create partnerships with brands, online merchants, payment gateways or other regional partners

• Develop depth understanding of both company products and partners' products to create successful partnerships

• Prepare customized presentations for potential partners

About you

• Bachelor Degree from any major

• At least 1-2 years of working experience in financial company

• Vast network in local brand / retail merchants preferred

• Strong analytical skills in sales and performance monitoring

• Strong negotiation and leadership skills

• Excellent communication skills

• Holding both a SIM A and C license and owning a personal vehicle
