Barback / Junior Bartender (Nightclub) - PT. Svaha Jagad Bali

About the role

PT. Svaha Jagad Bali is building the most exciting premium nightclub in Canggu. As a Barback, you will support the Bar Operations team during operational hours. In this role, you will also be trained as a Junior Bartender. If you have great stamina, a willingness to learn the art of mixology, and want to start a fantastic career in the nightlife industry, this is your opportunity.

Key responsibilities

• Provide full support to the Bartender team during operational hours so they can serve guests quickly and efficiently

• Ensure stock availability across all bar stations, including ice, garnish, syrups, clean glasses, and backup liquor bottles

• Actively collect and wash dirty glasses, clean drink spills, and maintain cleanliness and neatness of the entire bar area (front and back)

• Assist with opening (bar preparation before service) and closing (cleaning and organizing the bar after service)

• Learn basic bartending techniques, cocktail recipes, and product knowledge as preparation to become a Junior Bartender

• Help Bartenders prepare simple drinks or serve guests when the bar is extremely busy (under Head Bartender supervision)

About you

• Minimum 1 year experience as a Barback, Waiter, or Runner in F&B, Bar, or Nightclub (Fresh graduates from hospitality or tourism vocational schools are welcome to apply)

• Very strong physical stamina and high energy; able to lift heavy loads (such as ice bins or boxes of drinks) and move quickly in confined work areas

• Strong passion and interest in learning to become a professional Bartender

• Hardworking, highly motivated, initiative-driven, agile, and able to work well as a team player

• Able to communicate in basic English

• Must be willing to work night shift system (late evening until early morning), weekends, and public holidays

• Available to join immediately
