Bar Manager (Nightclub) - PT. Svaha Jagad Bali

About the role

PT. Svaha Jagad Bali is launching a world-class premium nightclub in Canggu. We are looking for a highly skilled and creative Bar Manager (concurrently acting as Head Bar) who is a master of mixology, a strong leader who can manage high-volume beverage operations, and an expert in cost control to craft the ultimate drinking experience for guests.

Key responsibilities

• Manage entire bar operations (including main bar and VIP bar), ensuring beverage quality, service speed, and hygiene standards are maintained at the highest level

• Lead, train, and schedule Bartender and Barback team members

• Design and innovate beverage menu (classic & signature cocktails, bottle service packages) aligned with the premium nightclub concept

• Manage bar inventory, purchasing, and conduct regular stock takes

• Control Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) for the beverage department, minimize wastage and spillage, and maximize profitability

• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and legal standards related to alcohol service

• Coordinate with Operations Manager and General Manager on beverage sales strategy and achievement of daily/monthly targets

About you

• Minimum 3-5 years of F&B industry experience, with specific experience as Bar Manager or Head Bartender in a Nightclub, Beach Club, or High-Volume Premium Bar

• Deep mixology expertise and extensive knowledge of spirits, liqueurs, and modern cocktail-making techniques

• Proven experience managing Beverage Cost (COGS), inventory, and creating bar financial analysis reports

• Strong leadership with ability to mentor barback and junior bartender staff

• Fluent in English (spoken and written) to communicate with international guests and management

• Ability to work at very fast pace, detail-oriented, and remain calm under high-volume order pressure

• Must be willing to work night shift system (evening until early morning operations), weekends, and public holidays
