Application Engineer

About the role

This job position is for Oil & Gas industries. The role involves providing technical and commercial support for sales activities, including quotation preparation, technical clarification, and product presentation.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare quotation for Oil & Gas customers starting from FEED, Budgetary, Bidding & Firm quote

• Conduct technical clarification and product presentation

• Identify inquiries and understand competitor products to offer competitive products based on customer needs

• Negotiation and entering order to Principle

• Monitor outstanding quotation and analysis to get more competitiveness

• Work closely with Sales team and visit customers if needed

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in Instrumentation, Physics, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering

• Fluent in English both spoken and written

• Mandarin proficiency is a plus.

• Experience in product selection, technical sales, or application engineering

• Good knowledge of valves products and components, including Valve International Standard (ANSI, ASME, ISO, DIN, API, etc.)

• High skill of software application: Sizing, CRM, SAP

• Quick learning, good negotiation, and presentation skill

• Familiar with document project requirement

• High skill in communication and written correspondence

• Good level of Computer literacy (Ms. Office)
