Admission Coordinator (ER & IPD / OPD)

Admission Coordinator role in ensuring a smooth and seamless patient admission process, serving as a key point of contact for patients, families, and healthcare professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Maintaining accurate admission records and ensuring compliance with hospital policies and data protection requirements

• Managing patient check-in schedules and minimizing wait times

• Greeting and registering patients upon arrival at the hospital, ensuring accurate and complete information collection

• Verifying patient insurance details and processing admission documentation efficiently

• Coordinating with clinical staff to ensure patient room assignments and bed availability

• Providing patients and families with information about hospital services, procedures, and facility amenities

• Liaising between patients, medical staff, and administrative departments to facilitate smooth patient flow

• Processing patient transfers and discharges with proper documentation

• Handling patient inquiries and concerns with professionalism and empathy

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in a hospital admission, reception, or customer-facing healthcare role of at least 2 years

• Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

• Excellent communication skills in English and Indonesian, both verbal and written

• Proficiency in using hospital management systems and computer software

• Knowledge of medical terminology and understanding of patient admission procedures

• A compassionate approach to patient care with a commitment to providing excellent customer service

• Problem-solving abilities and the capacity to think quickly and independently

• Previous experience in a healthcare sales or patient liaison environment is highly desirable
