About the role

PT ELUX TECHNOLOGY INTERNATIONAL is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounting professional to join our finance team. This is a full-time position based in the Riau Islands. As an Accounting professional, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial integrity of our organisation through accurate recording, analysis, and reporting of financial transactions. Your work will directly support informed decision-making at all levels of the business and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Recording and processing financial transactions in accordance with accounting principles and company policies

• Preparing and maintaining general ledger accounts and reconciliations

• Assisting in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements

• Performing account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records

• Verifying and processing invoices, expense claims and other financial documentation

• Supporting the audit process by providing necessary documentation and explanations

• Identifying and resolving discrepancies in financial records

• Assisting with payroll processing and related compliance matters

• Contributing to the development and improvement of accounting processes and controls

• Collaborating with other departments to ensure timely and accurate financial information

What we're looking for

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field

• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel

• Strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and Indonesian accounting standards

• Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy

• Ability to organise and prioritise multiple tasks effectively

• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team

• Knowledge of financial reporting requirements and compliance matters

• Experience with journal entries, accounts payable and accounts receivable processes

• Familiarity with tax regulations and reporting in Indonesia is advantageous

• Professional certification such as Brevet A or equivalent is preferred
