We are seeking a professional and dedicated Waitress to join our hospitality team in Kuta, Bali. This is a full-time position offering an exciting opportunity to deliver exceptional service in a dynamic and fast-paced hospitality environment. As a Waitress, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction throughout their visit. This position is fundamental to maintaining our reputation for outstanding customer service and attention to detail.

Key responsibilities

• Greeting guests warmly and promptly upon arrival, and seating them according to section assignments

• Presenting menus and providing knowledgeable recommendations about food and beverage offerings

• Taking accurate food and drink orders from guests and communicating them clearly to the kitchen and bar teams

• Serving meals and beverages to guests in a timely and professional manner, with attention to presentation and portion control

• Checking in with guests regularly to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns or special requests

• Maintaining impeccable table settings and clearing plates promptly between courses

• Processing payments and handling transactions accurately using point-of-sale systems

• Ensuring compliance with food and beverage safety standards and hospitality protocols

• Collaborating effectively with kitchen, bar and housekeeping staff to deliver seamless service

• Maintaining a clean and organised work area and assisting with general restaurant setup and breakdown

What we're looking for

• Previous experience working as waiting staff in a hospitality establishment or similar customer-facing service role

• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally and courteously with guests from diverse backgrounds

• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to remember guest preferences and special requirements

• Physical stamina and ability to work long hours on your feet in a fast-paced environment

• Knowledge of food and beverage service standards and etiquette

• Proficiency in using point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic numeracy skills for handling cash and card transactions

• Team player mentality with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues under pressure

• Flexibility to work shifts including evenings, weekends and public holidays as required

• Fluency in English is essential; additional language skills (particularly Indonesian, Mandarin or other Asian languages) are highly desirable
