Waitress

About the role

As a Waitress at Chakana Bali, you will be responsible for providing a warm, welcoming, and high-standard dining experience for every guest. This role focuses on delivering efficient food and beverage service, possessing thorough menu knowledge, and maintaining a clean, vibrant dining atmosphere.

Key responsibilities

• Warmly greet guests upon arrival and service them to their tables

• Present menus, offer recommendations, and explain daily specials or featured items

• Accurately take food and beverage orders using the Point of Sale (POS) system

• Ensure orders are served promptly, at the correct temperature, and according to presentation standards

• Perform check-backs during meals to ensure guest satisfaction

• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the menu, including ingredients, allergens, preparation methods, and beverage pairings

• Proactively upsell appetizers, desserts, signature drinks, and promotional items

• Perform side duties, including table setup, polishing cutlery, and preparing service stations before opening

• Clear dirty dishes, glassware, and cutlery quietly and efficiently

• Process guest payments (cash and card) accurately

About you

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Waitress / Server in a restaurant, café, or beach club

• Fluent in English and Indonesian

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a positive, customer-focused attitude

• Familiarity with POS systems

• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment

• Well-groomed, high standard of personal hygiene, reliable, and punctual
