Underwriting Officer

Key Responsibilities

• Review and assess underwriting applications to analyze customer risk.

• Contact prospective customers to provide medical explanations and clarify underwriting requirements.

• Ensure all underwriting decisions comply with company policies, guidelines, and regulations.

• Analyze underwriting data and prepare reports.

• Conduct assessments and prepare recommendations for facultative reinsurance submissions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Medicine, Nursing, or other related healthcare fields.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in underwriting from Life / Health Insurance

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Good communication skills and ability to explain medical information clearly.

• Detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
