About the role

Roll on Site (ROS) work involves roll forming (shaping or stamping) of long lightweight steel roofing/spandek material performed directly at construction project sites, as the material cannot be transported using standard vehicles.

Key responsibilities

• Perform installation, calibration, and ensure safe placement of roll forming machines at project locations, ready for operation

• Operate machines to stamp roof or steel profiles according to specified length, thickness, and quantity requirements from project teams/clients

• Conduct routine checks and lubrication of machine components before and after production to prevent unexpected breakdowns

• Identify and repair technical issues on machines at site promptly to avoid project delays

• Ensure bending or steel profile cutting results are precise, defect-free, and meet construction safety standards

• Prepare daily reports on raw material usage (steel coils), daily production output, and machine condition status for project supervisors

About you

• Minimum SMK/D3 education in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Automation Engineering, or Electrical Engineering

• Minimum 1–2 years experience as an industrial machine technician, roll forming operator, or field technician on construction projects

• Proficient in operation, setting, and maintenance of roll forming machines

• Able to read construction technical drawings or blueprints

• Understanding of basic machine electrical systems (high/low current) and hydraulic/pneumatic systems

• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills to minimise production obstacles on site

• Physically fit and willing to work in open project areas with changing weather conditions

• Ready for placement or official travel to other cities according to company project locations

• K3 General / K3 Construction certification and technical mechanical certification (valued)
