About the role

PT. Narwastu Medika is a growing medical equipment distributor company seeking professional staff to join as a Biomedical Technician. The role involves installation, inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of medical equipment across healthcare facilities in Jakarta, Palembang, and Tangerang.

Key responsibilities

• Perform installation, inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of medical equipment
• Conduct preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance according to procedures
• Perform functional testing and ensure medical equipment operates according to specifications
• Provide technical support to customers regarding equipment use and issues
• Create work reports, service reports, and technical documentation
• Conduct service visits to hospitals, clinics, laboratories, and other healthcare facilities
• Coordinate with sales team, product specialists, and principals regarding technical requirements
• Ensure all work is performed according to SOP, safety standards, and applicable regulations
• Be available on-call 24/7 according to hospital scheduling needs

About you

• Minimum D3/S1 education in Biomedical Engineering, IT, Medical Laboratory Technology, or related field
• Understanding and experience in IT Support, hardware and software troubleshooting, computer networks
• Understanding of basic electronics, electrical systems, instrumentation, maintenance, service and troubleshooting
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and service manuals
• Capable of installing and maintaining biomedical equipment
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
• Willing to travel for business visits to customers
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Good ethics, conduct, and personality
• Experience as a medical equipment technician is a plus
• Valid SIM A/C is a plus
• Valid STR Biomedical/SIP or meeting related requirements is a plus
