Technology Teacher

AIS Jakarta is seeking a teacher with qualifications and a passion for Technology.  The Technology Teacher would be responsible for delivering an engaging and future-focused technology curriculum across both design and digital technologies.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Develop and implement curriculum that meets educational standards and student needs

• Plan and conduct engaging lessons focused on technology and engineering concepts

• Evaluate and assess student performance through assignments, tests, and projects

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of technological advancements to incorporate into teaching materials

• Demonstrates the effective use of technology in the educational process

• Provide hands-on training in various technological tools and equipment

• Collaborate with other educators and administrative staff to enhance the learning experience

• Manage classroom resources, including technological equipment and software

Requirement

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Experience in teaching or a related educational role.

• Fluent in both spoken and written English

• Competence in write routine reports and correspondence that conform to prescribed style and format

• Familiarity with the Python programming language and the IB curriculum is a plus
