Technical Specialist (Software CAD/CAM/CAE)

About the role

This position serves as technical and sales support for CAD/CAM/CAE solutions in the manufacturing industry, encompassing technical consultation, product presentation, training, technical support, and presales and post-sales process support.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct technical approach and consultation with prospective customers in the Manufacturing sector

• Deliver product presentations for CAD/CAM/CAE solutions to customers and prospects

• Provide technical support and consultation regarding customer needs

• Conduct product training and workshops for customers

• Research market needs and industry trends in Manufacturing related to CAD/CAM/CAE

• Perform product benchmarking with competitors in the industry

• Support the Sales team in presales and post-sales processes

• Lead and direct the team to achieve company targets

About you

• Minimum S1 degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering

• Experience using CAD/CAM/CAE software

• Proficiency in one or more software such as SolidWorks, Siemens NX, ZW3D, ZWCAD/AutoCAD, or SketchUp

• Understanding of manufacturing design processes, Mold Design, Assembly Design, Parametric Design, and Digital Prototype

• Ability to create CNC machine movement simulations for CAM purposes

• Ability to explain and convince customers regarding offered solutions/products

• Critical thinking, quick response, problem-solving skills, and high initiative

• Able to work independently and within a team

• Willing to work mobile and conduct visits to various industrial locations
