Staff Quality Control

About the role

This role involves overseeing the implementation of quality control processes on raw materials, production processes, and finished products. You will ensure all inspection activities comply with quality standards, SOPs, and company regulations, while leading, organizing, and evaluating the performance of the Quality Control team.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the execution of quality control processes on raw materials, production processes, and finished products

• Ensure all inspection activities comply with quality standards, SOPs, and company regulations

• Lead, organize, and evaluate the performance of the Quality Control team

• Develop inspection schedules and ensure inspections are conducted consistently

• Analyze inspection results, defect data, and quality trends periodically

• Identify root causes of quality non-conformities using appropriate analysis methods

• Coordinate corrective and preventive actions with relevant departments

• Ensure non-conforming products are handled, segregated, and documented correctly

• Create reports on inspection results, quality findings, corrective actions, and achievements

• Coordinate with Production, Warehouse, Engineering, Purchasing, and related departments to maintain product quality

About you

• Minimum D3/S1 education, preferably in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Food Technology, or related fields

• Minimum 4 years of experience in Quality Control or Quality Assurance

• Experience in Laboratory & Chemical Analysis

• Understanding of incoming, in-process, and final inspection procedures

• Proficiency with laboratory equipment and ASTM Standards

• Understanding of quality management concepts, defect control, and continuous improvement

• Ability to perform root cause analysis using methods such as 5 Why, Fishbone, or 8D

• Understanding of measurement tools and basic calibration procedures

• Ability to read and understand SOPs, work instructions, specification standards, and quality documents

• Experience creating quality reports and processing data using Microsoft Excel
