About the role

We are seeking a Staff Procurement professional to join our team at our Cirebon, West Java facility. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our supply chain and manufacturing processes. As Staff Procurement, you will be responsible for sourcing, procuring, and managing materials and services essential to our furniture manufacturing operations. This role is integral to maintaining our production schedules, controlling costs, and building strong supplier relationships that support our business objectives.

What you'll be doing

• Identifying and evaluating potential suppliers for raw materials, components, and services required in furniture manufacturing

• Negotiating contracts and terms with suppliers to secure competitive pricing and favourable conditions

• Managing purchase orders and ensuring timely delivery of materials to meet production schedules

• Monitoring supplier performance against agreed quality and delivery standards

• Maintaining accurate records of procurement transactions, inventory levels, and supplier information

• Liaising with production teams to forecast material requirements and plan procurement activities

• Identifying cost-saving opportunities and implementing improvements to the procurement process

• Resolving supplier issues and managing disputes to maintain smooth operations

• Ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant regulations in all procurement activities

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in procurement, supply chain, or purchasing roles, ideally within the manufacturing or furniture industry

• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build effective working relationships with suppliers

• Knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management, and inventory control

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and procurement software systems

• Excellent organisational and time management abilities

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Familiarity with quality standards and compliance requirements in manufacturing
