Staff Engineering

About the role

A technical role in hotel/villa operations focused on maintaining and repairing building systems and equipment to ensure efficient operational performance.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out tasks in accordance with hotel/villa policies and ensure all technical work is completed efficiently

• Repair damage to main systems and equipment (AC, utilities, kitchen equipment, plumbing, etc)

• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to maintain operational performance

• Respond quickly to technical assistance requests from guests or staff

• Record all maintenance work and equipment conditions accurately

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations

About you

• Experience as a technician, facilities management, or similar role

• Skilled in handling plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems

• Problem-solving ability and ability to work under pressure

• Knowledge of safety standards and technical manuals

• Able to work in a team with good communication

• Good physical condition and willing to work shifts (including weekends/public holidays)
