Sound System Engineer

About the role

Design audio schemas, cable routes, and audio signal flow diagrams for installation projects. Perform technical calculations related to power, impedance, room acoustics, and speaker load distribution. Conduct assembly, testing of electronic components, and sound system calibration at project locations. Execute audio tuning using professional sound analysis software. Troubleshoot technical issues at the electronic component and audio hardware level. Collaborate with project teams (Main contractor) to ensure smooth system integration. Create technical documentation, user manuals, and project handover reports.

Key responsibilities

• Design schemas, cable routes, and audio signal flow diagrams for installation projects

About you

• Minimum D3/S1 education in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or Physics (Acoustics)

• Minimum 2 years experience as Sound Engineer on permanent installation projects (Buildings, Halls, Stadiums)

• Proficient in reading electronic schematic diagrams and sound system block diagrams

• Skilled in using audio design and analysis software (EASE, SmartLive, or similar)

• Strong understanding of audio electronic components (Amplifier, DSP, Crossover, Mixer)

• Understanding of network-based digital audio systems (Audio over IP) such as Dante or AVB

• Willing to undertake official travel to company project locations
