About the role

Site Engineer responsible for overseeing and coordinating technical implementation at project locations, ensuring work is executed according to technical drawings, specifications, quality standards, occupational safety, and established schedules. The role involves supervising and coordinating the execution of technical work on site for industrial projects and factory facility construction, particularly ice factory and cold storage development.

Key responsibilities

• Study technical drawings, work specifications, BOQ/RAB, and ensure compliance with actual project site conditions

• Prepare daily and weekly work plans, including labour, material, and equipment requirements

• Direct and supervise workers, foremen, technicians, and subcontractors in the field

• Inspect quality and compliance of incoming materials and conduct quality control inspections of work results

• Coordinate execution of civil works, insulation panels, refrigeration installation, piping, electrical, and utilities according to assignment

• Monitor work progress and identify technical obstacles in the field for follow-up with Project Manager

• Ensure implementation of Occupational Safety and Health (K3) and maintain safety of project work areas

• Support testing and commissioning processes according to work scope and relevant personnel authority

• Ensure completion of outstanding work lists (punch list) before project handover

• Prepare daily and weekly progress reports, including work documentation and as-built drawing updates according to actual conditions

About you

• Minimum D3/S1 education in Mechanical Engineering, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related engineering field

• Minimum 2 years experience as Site Engineer or technical implementer on construction projects, MEP installation, or refrigeration

• Preferred experience in ice factory development projects, cold storage, or industrial refrigeration systems

• Able to read and understand technical drawings, work specifications, and BOQ/RAB

• Understanding of work execution methods, field measurement, material inspection, and quality control

• Understanding of basic refrigeration systems, insulation, vapor barrier, drainage, and electrical work according to work scope

• Able to use AutoCAD and Microsoft Office to support drawing review, data processing, and reporting

• Understanding of K3 implementation and work quality standards in the field

• Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills

• Thorough, disciplined, responsible, and able to work with team and subcontractors
