Shopkeeper / Sales Assistant – Uluwatu Guitar

Location: Pecatu, Uluwatu, Bali

Uluwatu Guitar by Canggu Guitar is looking for a friendly and reliable Shopkeeper to join our team. You will help customers choose instruments, demonstrate products, and keep the store running smoothly.

Essential Requirements

• Fluent in spoken and written English. You must be comfortable speaking with customers, explaining products, and responding to enquiries in English.

• Able to play guitar confidently. You must be able to tune guitars and demonstrate instruments to customers.

Other Requirements

• Friendly, approachable, and comfortable assisting customers.

• Reliable, punctual, organised, and attentive to detail.

• Interested in guitars, musical instruments, and accessories.

• Comfortable using WhatsApp, spreadsheets, and basic computer applications.

• Able to work on-site in Uluwatu and follow a rotating roster, including weekends.

• Previous experience in retail, sales, customer service, or Shopify is an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome customers, understand their needs, and recommend suitable instruments and accessories.

• Demonstrate guitars and explain product features clearly.

• Respond promptly to WhatsApp enquiries and follow up on customer requests.

• Process sales and payments, maintain accurate cash records, and prepare daily reports.

• Clean, tune, and inspect guitars daily, monitor store humidity, and report maintenance issues.

• Keep displays, price tags, the shop, bathroom, and outdoor area clean and organised.

• Receive deliveries, check products against invoices, and organise receipts and product images.

• Record service requests , coordinate repair updates with the luthier, and keep customers informed.

• Follow store opening, closing, and shift handover procedures.

Working Schedule

• 40 working hours per week.

• 5 working days and 2 rostered days off.

• 8 working hours per day, plus a 1-hour break.

• Shifts and days off are coordinated with the team to maintain daily store coverage.
