Senior Desktop Software Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain cross-platform desktop applications using Electron, Tauri, or Wails.

• Build user-friendly interfaces with strong performance and reliability.

• Integrate desktop applications with APIs, backend services, and operating system features.

• Design clean, secure, and maintainable software architecture.

• Troubleshoot technical issues and optimize application performance.

• Manage application builds, releases, updates, and deployment processes.

• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to deliver new features.

• Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical improvements.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of professional software development experience.

• Hands-on experience building and deploying desktop applications using Electron, Tauri, or Wails.

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript.

• Experience with frontend frameworks such as React or Vue.

• Good understanding of desktop application architecture and cross-platform development.

• Experience with REST APIs, backend integration, Git, and debugging.

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

• Able to work fully onsite at Yogyakarta.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Rust or Node.js.

• Knowledge of native operating system integrations.

• Familiarity with application packaging, code signing, and automatic updates.

• Experience with automated testing and CI/CD pipelines.
