About the role

PT. Excellen Silo Leaching is seeking an experienced Senior Accounting/Supervisor Accounting & Fixed Asset to join our finance team in North Morowali, Central Sulawesi. This is a full-time position that offers a unique opportunity to lead accounting operations and fixed asset management within our growing organisation. As Senior Accounting Supervisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity and compliance of our financial records and reporting processes. This position reports directly to Expatriat and has strategic importance in maintaining robust financial controls and supporting business decision-making across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and supervise the day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger management and reconciliation processes

• Manage the complete fixed asset lifecycle, including asset acquisitions, depreciation calculations, maintenance tracking and disposal procedures in accordance with company policy and applicable accounting standards

• Prepare and review financial statements, account reconciliations and period-end closing procedures to ensure accuracy and timeliness

• Maintain comprehensive fixed asset registers and ensure all assets are properly documented, coded and tracked

• Implement and monitor internal controls over financial transactions and asset management to mitigate risks and prevent fraud

• Train, mentor and supervise junior accounting staff, providing guidance on accounting procedures, standards and best practices

• Ensure compliance with Indonesian accounting standards (SAK), tax regulations and relevant legal requirements

• Liaise with external auditors during audit processes and prepare necessary documentation and schedules

• Analyse accounting data and provide financial insights to support management decision-making

• Investigate discrepancies and resolve accounting issues promptly and professionally

• familliar with Tax (PPH 22,23,24,25,26)

What we're looking for

• Minimum 3 years of post-qualification experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or senior accounting role

• Professional accounting qualification such as Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; professional certifications (CPA, CA or equivalent) are highly desirable

• Strong expertise in fixed asset management, depreciation methodologies and asset lifecycle management

• Proficiency in accounting software / (ERP) systems

• In-depth knowledge of Indonesian accounting standards (SAK), tax compliance and regulatory requirements

• Excellent understanding of financial reporting principles, internal controls and audit procedures

• Record asset acquisitions, transfers, disposals, and write-offs in accordance with accounting standards and company policies.

• Calculate and monitor asset depreciation and amortization.

• Perform periodic fixed asset reconciliations between accounting records and physical assets.

• Prepare fixed asset reports for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.

• Assist in audit processes by providing fixed asset schedules and supporting documentation.

• Monitor capital expenditure (CAPEX) and ensure proper capitalization of assets.

• Support compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal control requirements.

• Identify and recommend process improvements related to fixed asset management.

• Experience in mining, manufacturing or extractive industries is preferred

• familiar with tax (PPH 22, 23,24,25,26)

• MUST BE SPEAKING ENGLISH IS MANDATORY, Can speak Mandari is a plus
