Sales Supervisor

About the role

PT Transisi Mobile Indonesia is seeking a dedicated Sales Supervisor to join our retail team in Cirebon, West Java. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in driving sales performance and ensuring exceptional customer experiences across our store operations. As Sales Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading the sales floor, motivating team members, and achieving sales targets whilst maintaining the highest standards of customer service. This role is integral to the success of our retail operations and offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on both team performance and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and manage daily sales floor operations, ensuring efficient workflow and optimal customer service delivery

• Lead, train and motivate sales staff to achieve individual and team sales targets

• Monitor sales performance metrics and implement strategies to improve results and customer engagement

• Provide guidance and coaching to team members on product knowledge, sales techniques and customer service excellence

• Handle customer inquiries, complaints and escalations with professionalism and efficiency

• Maintain visual merchandising standards and ensure product displays are attractive and well-organised

• Conduct regular inventory checks and ensure accurate stock management

• Schedule staff shifts and manage attendance to maintain adequate store coverage

• Report on sales performance, team productivity and operational metrics to senior management

• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and retail standards

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a Sales Supervisor or similar supervisory role in retail environment

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

• Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets

• Sound knowledge of retail operations, merchandising and customer service best practices

• Proficiency in point-of-sale systems and retail management software

• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously

• Problem-solving mindset with strong decision-making capabilities

• High attention to detail and organisational skills

• Fluency in Indonesian and basic English proficiency preferred
