Safety Patrol

About the role

A Safety Patrol or Safety Officer role responsible for conducting routine patrols across work locations to identify potential hazards and safety risks, ensuring worker compliance with safety protocols, and maintaining workplace safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct routine patrols across all work areas to identify potential hazards and safety risks

• Ensure all workers comply with safety protocols, safe work procedures, and established regulations

• Inspect equipment, personal protective equipment (PPE), and work area conditions to verify safety standards are met

• Investigate incidents, workplace accidents, and near-miss events and document findings in detail

• Provide education and training to workers on safety best practices and correct PPE usage

• Prepare daily reports and periodic reports on patrol activities, findings, and improvement recommendations

• Coordinate with management and HSE teams to ensure corrective actions for non-conformities are implemented promptly

• Maintain and care for emergency response facilities and ensure evacuation route accessibility

About you

• Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent with Safety Patrol or Safety Officer certification

• Fresh graduates welcome; experience as Safety Patrol or Safety Officer preferred

• Sufficient knowledge of K3 (Occupational Health and Safety) and HSE best practices

• In-depth knowledge of workplace safety regulations, standards, and HSE best practices

• Excellent communication skills in both spoken and written Indonesian; other languages preferred

• Sharp observation skills with high attention to detail in identifying hazards

• Problem-solving and analytical thinking ability to analyse incidents and recommend solutions

• High integrity, strong work discipline, and full commitment to workplace safety culture

• Ability to interact professionally and assertively with all personnel levels from workers to management

• Good physical health and ability to work in demanding field conditions
