Responsible Pharmacist (Temporary) – Tempo Scan Africa (Nigeria)

We are looking for a Responsible Pharmacist to provide pharmaceutical manufacturing and quality oversight for contract manufacturing activities in Nigeria, ensuring compliance with applicable Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), pharmaceutical quality standards, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements :

• Bachelor of Pharmacy and professional pharmacist qualification from an accredited institution

• Valid Indonesian pharmacy professional license (Surat Izin Praktik Apoteker - SIPA)

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience as a pharmacist in the pharmaceutical industry, preferably with experience as a Responsible Pharmacist/APJ in pharmaceutical manufacturing.

• Experience in Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, and/or pharmaceutical manufacturing is highly preferred

• Experience in an international/multinational pharmaceutical company is highly preferred

• Experience in managing or overseeing contract manufacturing activities, including monitoring GMP compliance and coordinating with contract manufacturing partners, is highly preferred.

• Strong knowledge and practical experience in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), with knowledge of Halal Product Assurance System (SJPH) and relevant ISO standards.

• Experience or knowledge in batch documentation review, product release, deviation, CAPA, change control, product complaints, and product recall.

• Knowledge of pharmaceutical regulatory requirements in Nigeria, including NAFDAC requirements, is preferred

• Excellent organizational and documentation skills with strong attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and effectively coordinate with cross-functional teams and external partners.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with contract manufacturers, regulatory authorities, and internal stakeholders.

• Fluent in written and spoken English and proficient in Microsoft Office

• Willing to be based in Nigeria for the duration of the assignment
