Redhat Openstack Engineer

Minimum 3 years of experience in Linux, Cloud Infrastructure, OpenStack, or related infrastructure roles.

Minimum 1-2 years of hands-on OpenStack experience, preferably Red Hat OpenStack.

Have participated directly in at least one end-to-end OpenStack installation or deployment from scratch.Have hands-on experience performing OpenStack patching or minor version updates in a production environment

Strong administration and troubleshooting skills in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).

Good understanding of OpenStack architecture and interaction between Controller, Compute, Network, and Storage components.

Good Linux troubleshooting skills covering systemd, networking, storage, processes, logs, and performance analysis

Good understanding of TCP/IP, VLAN, routing, bonding/LACP, MTU, DNS, load balancing, and overlay networking.

Good understanding of virtualization, compute, storage, and High Availability concepts.

Able to troubleshoot using CLI and logs rather than relying solely on GUI/dashboard.

Familiar with Ansible and infrastructure automation.

Familiar with Git and configuration/version control.

Comfortable working in production environments with incident, problem, and change management processes
