QC Chemist

We are looking for a QC Staff to help us build high-quality products. You will be responsible for sampling and testing raw materials, products in mid-production, and finished products. If you feel at home inside the lab and enjoy the thrill of experimentation, we’d like to hear from you.

Jobdesc:

• Perform color matching and color adjustment based on customer or production requirements.

• Develop and verify color formulas to ensure they are consistent and reproducible in production.

• Conduct QC testing for solvent-based pigment.

• Perform pigment dispersion and grinding using Two Roll Mill and/or laboratory-scale Bead Mill.

• Evaluate parameters such as color difference, viscosity, fineness, dispersion, and gloss.

• Troubleshoot color, formulation, and product consistency issues.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific field. Pure Chemistry is preferred.

• Preferably has experience in the chemical industry, particularly in paint & coatings, masterbatch manufacturing, or solvent-based paint manufacturing.

• Hands-on experience in color matching, color formulation, and color adjustment, with the ability to read, understand, evaluate, and modify color formulations.

• Knowledge of Color Science, including color spaces, color difference equations, and color measurement principles, is preferred.

• Experience operating and interpreting color measurement instruments, such as spectrophotometers or other color measurement equipment, is preferred.

• Hands-on laboratory experience using grinding and dispersion equipment, particularly Two Roll Mill and/or laboratory-scale Bead Mill, is highly preferred.
