QA & MR Manager

About the role

Support the Board of Directors in developing strategic, tactical, and operational plans for Quality Assurance, including quality-related cost control. Lead and monitor quality control activities across incoming material inspection, in-process inspection, and finished product inspection. Establish and maintain quality standards for raw and auxiliary materials, production processes, and finished products.

Key responsibilities

• Support strategic planning for the development of new production units or manufacturing facilities.

• Evaluate the implementation and effectiveness of tactical and operational plans.

• Lead and monitor quality control activities, including incoming material inspection, in-process inspection, and finished product inspection.

• Prepare and maintain comprehensive quality inspection reports, including appropriate filling samples and quality records.

• Ensure laboratory equipment is properly maintained, secured, and utilized effectively and efficiently.

• Coordinate with the Purchasing Department regarding non-conforming raw materials and materials to be returned to suppliers.

• Work closely with the Production Department to identify quality issues, provide recommendations, and improve production quality.

• Lead and develop the QA team by delegating responsibilities, monitoring performance, and ensuring departmental targets are achieved.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize departmental performance and overall product quality.

• Ensure effective implementation and compliance with Quality Management System (ISO 9001) and Environmental Management System (ISO 14001) requirements.

Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor's degree (S1) in Chemical Engineering or other relevant Engineering disciplines.

• Minimum 4 years of experience as an Assistant Manager or QA Manager in a manufacturing company.

• Strong knowledge and practical understanding of:
  ISO 9001 – Quality Management System
  ISO 14001 – Environmental Management System
  SAP QM module
  FSC & PEFC

• Strong knowledge and practical understanding of quality control and quality assurance processes.

• Good command of English, both written and spoken.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Broad perspective with the ability to develop ideas, initiatives, and practical solutions.

• Detail-oriented, organized, decisive, responsible, and trustworthy.
