Project Manager

About the role

PT Bintai Kindenko Engineering Indonesia is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our dynamic construction team. Based in Jakarta, this full-time position offers a strategic opportunity to oversee and coordinate complex engineering projects from inception to completion. As Project Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role is pivotal to our continued success and growth in the construction and engineering sector.

What you'll be doing

• Planning, organising and managing all phases of construction projects, from pre-construction through to project closeout

• Developing comprehensive project plans, schedules and budgets whilst ensuring adherence to timelines and financial targets

• Coordinating with clients, contractors, architects, engineers and other stakeholders to ensure clear communication and alignment on project objectives

• Managing project resources, including personnel, equipment and materials, to optimise efficiency and reduce waste

• Monitoring project progress and performance against established KPIs and reporting status to senior management and clients

• Identifying and mitigating project risks, resolving issues promptly and implementing corrective actions as needed

• Ensuring compliance with all applicable health, safety and environmental regulations and company policies

• Managing project documentation, contracts and change orders whilst maintaining accurate records

• Leading and motivating project teams to foster a collaborative and productive working environment

• Conducting quality assurance reviews and ensuring all deliverables meet contractual specifications and standards

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management or a related discipline

• 5+ years' experience as a Project Manager within the construction or engineering industry

• Demonstrated expertise in managing multiple projects simultaneously with budgets ranging from moderate to substantial values

• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes, safety regulations and industry best practices

• Proficiency in project management software and tools such as Microsoft Project, Primavera or similar applications

• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint

• Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise effectively with diverse stakeholders at all levels

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with demonstrated decision-making capability

• Knowledge of Indonesian construction regulations and experience working on projects in Indonesia preferred

• Professional certification such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or similar qualification is advantageous
