Project Lead – AI Data Collection

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and hands-on Project Lead to manage end-to-end AI video data collection operations in Indonesia. This role is responsible for developing partnerships with offline business locations, building and managing field collection teams, ensuring data quality, and delivering project targets within the agreed timeline and budget.

The ideal candidate has strong experience in offline business development, partner negotiations, field operations, and large-scale team management. This position requires a high level of ownership, operational efficiency, and the ability to manage projects from initial site acquisition through final client delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Management: Lead and oversee end-to-end AI video data collection projects in Indonesia, ensuring that project objectives, timelines, quality standards, and delivery targets are achieved.

• Business Development and Site Acquisition: Identify and secure suitable video collection locations, including factories, industrial parks, supermarkets, retail stores, commercial areas, barbershops, maintenance shops, and other business premises.

• Partner Relationship Management: Negotiate with business owners, site managers, and other stakeholders to obtain filming permissions, arrange site access, and coordinate on-site activities. Build and maintain a reliable network of partner locations.

• Team Recruitment and Management: Recruit, train, schedule, supervise, and manage field personnel to support large-scale video data collection activities.

• Collection Target Achievement: Ensure daily collection targets are met in terms of video quantity, duration, and other client requirements.

• Quality Assurance: Monitor daily collection progress and review data quality to maintain high valid-data and acceptance rates in accordance with project standards.

• Cost Control and Operational Efficiency: Manage manpower costs, optimize workflows, improve team productivity, minimize invalid collection expenses, and maintain project profitability.

• Reporting and Continuous Improvement: Prepare regular project progress reports, collection data summaries, quality reviews, and operational improvement plans for internal stakeholders and clients.

Requirements

• Proven experience in offline Business Development, field operations, ground promotion, or business negotiations.

• Experience working with factories, supermarkets, retail stores, maintenance shops, or other physical business locations is highly preferred.

• Demonstrated experience in large-scale team management, workforce scheduling, or field project operations.

• Strong understanding of cost control, operational efficiency, data analysis, and risk management.

• Excellent execution and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage projects independently from site acquisition to final delivery.

• Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia, with strong communication and negotiation skills.

• Proficiency in Chinese and/or English is an advantage.

• Experience in AI data collection, video data collection, data annotation, or AI-related project operations is preferred.

• Willingness to work in the field and coordinate directly with business partners and collection teams as required.
