Production Manager

We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to join based in Tangerang, Banten. This is a strategic leadership position within our manufacturing operation, where you will oversee production planning, scheduling, and execution to ensure optimal efficiency, quality, and safety across our production facilities. The Production Manager plays a crucial role in driving operational excellence and maintaining our commitment to delivering high-quality products.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production operations and coordinate scheduling to meet production targets and delivery deadlines

• Develop and implement production plans that optimise resource allocation, workforce efficiency, and equipment utilisation

• Monitor production performance metrics, including output, quality, downtime, and safety standards

• Manage inventory levels and coordinate with supply chain teams to ensure materials are available when needed

• Lead and supervise production teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence

• Identify production bottlenecks and implement corrective actions to improve workflow and efficiency

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations across all production areas

• Collaborate with quality assurance teams to maintain product standards and resolve quality issues

• Report on production performance to senior management and participate in strategic planning initiatives

• Implement lean manufacturing principles and drive cost reduction programmes

Qualification

• Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management or a related discipline

• Minimum 5 years of experience in production management or similar roles within a manufacturing environment

• Proven experience with production planning and scheduling systems

• Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies

• Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop production teams effectively

• Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on operational efficiency and cost optimisation

• Proficiency in data analysis and production management software

• Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities

• Knowledge of automotive manufacturing processes and quality standards is highly desirable

• Fluency in English and Indonesian languages is essential
