Join the First Authentic Montessori Preschool in North Sulawesi
Kinderglory Montessori School is growing, and we are looking for a passionate Preschool Teacher (1.5–6 years) who is committed to child-centered education and eager to grow in the Montessori method.
This is a meaningful opportunity to be part of an authentic Montessori preschool environment aligned with AMI principles. As a faith-inspired school, we integrate Biblical values with Montessori education, nurturing children not only in independence and early learning, but also in character, love, and respect.
Join us in creating a joyful and purposeful environment where each child is guided to develop their full potential: academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually.
Overall Purpose of the Role:
As a Preschool Teacher at Kinderglory Montessori School, you will play a vital role in guiding children aged 1.5 - 2.5 years (Toddy Class) and 2.5–6 years (Kindy Class) through a thoughtfully prepared environment that supports independence, curiosity, and joyful learning.
You will work closely with children, parents, and colleagues to create a safe, respectful, and engaging classroom where each child is seen, valued, and supported.
This Role Is Ideal for You If You:
Truly enjoy working with children and see teaching as a calling, not just a job
Are patient, reflective, and willing to keep learning
Value structure, consistency, and respectful communication to both adults and children
Are open to Montessori philosophy or eager to be trained in it
Enjoy working in a small, supportive and collaborative team environment
Key Responsibilities:
Create and maintain a calm, engaging, and well-prepared learning environment
Observe, guide, and support children’s development according to their individual needs and readiness
Plan and implement age-appropriate learning experiences aligned with child development principles
Foster independence, positive discipline, and social-emotional growth
Build strong, respectful relationships with children and families
Document children’s progress and communicate clearly with parents
Collaborate with colleagues and participate in team meetings and school events
Uphold the values, ethos, and professional standards of Kinderglory Montessori School
What We’re Looking For:
Essential:
Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, Psychology, or a related field
Minimum 3 years’ experience teaching toddlers or preschool-aged children
Strong understanding of child development
Good classroom management and communication skills
Fluent English (spoken and written)
Highly Desirable:
Montessori training or certification (or strong interest in Montessori education)
Experience working with parents and conducting parent-teacher communication
What You Can Expect From Us:
A supportive, respectful, and collaborative school culture
Opportunities for Montessori training and professional development
Ongoing guidance and mentorship from school leadership
Competitive salary (commensurate with experience)
Daily lunch catering
BPJS Health Insurance
Career growth opportunities as the school expands
