PPIC Supervisor

About the role

The PPIC Supervisor position involves managing and supervising daily Production Planning and Inventory Control (PPIC) activities. This role requires strong experience in production planning, scheduling, and inventory control, with responsibility for coordinating production plans based on machine capacity, material availability, and customer requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and supervise daily PPIC activities

• Develop and control production planning and scheduling

• Ensure production plans are aligned with customer demand and available capacity

• Monitor material availability and inventory levels

• Coordinate changes in production schedules and resolve planning constraints

• Monitor FG availability, inventory aging, and stock utilization

• Prepare PPIC reports, analysis, and performance monitoring

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives related to planning, inventory, and production efficiency

About you

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field

• Minimum 5 years of experience in PPIC, with at least 2–3 years in a supervisory role

• Strong experience in production planning, scheduling, and inventory control

• Experienced in preparing and controlling Master Production Schedule (MPS) and Material Requirements Planning (MRP)

• Able to perform capacity planning and coordinate production plans based on machine capacity, material availability, and customer requirements

• Experienced in monitoring raw material, packaging material, Work in Process (WIP), and Finished Goods (FG) inventory

• Able to analyze inventory levels, aging stock, slow-moving stock, and excess stock

• Experienced in coordinating with Production, Warehouse, Purchasing, Sales/Marketing, and other related departments

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Good leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage and develop a PPIC team
