About the role

We are seeking a Mandarin Chinese Translator and Management Accountant to join our team on a full-time basis in Tangerang, Banten. This is a unique opportunity to combine language expertise with accounting proficiency in a role that bridges cultural and financial communication within our organisation. You will play a vital part in facilitating international business relationships and ensuring accurate financial reporting and analysis across our operations. This position holds strategic importance in enabling effective communication with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders and supporting our management accounting functions.

Key responsibilities

• Translating financial documents, reports, and communications between English and Mandarin Chinese with accuracy and attention to detail

• Providing interpretation services during financial meetings, negotiations, and presentations with international partners

• Assisting in the preparation and review of management accounting reports and financial analysis

• Supporting the development and maintenance of management accounting systems and processes

• Collaborating with finance teams to ensure translated materials maintain financial accuracy and compliance standards

• Facilitating communication between local and international stakeholders regarding accounting and financial matters

• Contributing to the translation of accounting policies, procedures, and internal financial documentation

• Assisting in budget analysis, variance reporting, and cost management initiatives

What we're looking for

• Fluency in both Mandarin Chinese and English, with demonstrated proficiency in translating financial and accounting terminology

• Professional certification or qualification in accounting, such as a relevant degree or professional accounting designation

• Solid understanding of management accounting principles, cost analysis, budgeting, and financial reporting

• Experience in translating technical or financial documents in a professional environment

• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy when working with complex financial information

• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

• Proficiency in relevant accounting software and Microsoft Office applications

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment

• Professional communication skills and cultural awareness when interacting with international partners

• Knowledge of Indonesian accounting standards and international financial reporting practices is advantageous
