Overseas Merchandiser (Mandarin Speaker)

About the role
We are seeking an Overseas Merchandiser (Mandarin Speaking). This is a full-time position that plays a critical role in bridging communication between our international clients and our manufacturing operations. As an Overseas Merchandiser, you will be responsible for managing client relationships, coordinating production schedules, and ensuring seamless merchandise flow from production through to delivery. Your Mandarin language proficiency will be essential in liaising with Chinese-speaking partners and clients, making this role strategically important to our business development and operational success.

What you'll be doing

• Manage order process from sample confirmation, PO, production, QC/inspection through shipment and payment

• Communicate and follow up with international buyers/customers via email and other communication channels

• Handle sample development processes, sample revisions, approvals, and provide customer updates

• Ensure CAD/PDS/die-cut alignment with PI/PO, including model, product name, size, color, and packaging

• Coordinate with Production, QC, Warehouse, and Export/Logistics teams to ensure orders proceed on schedule

• Monitor production processes and ensure quality and quantity meet customer requirements

• Participate in Initial, During, and Final Inspection processes and assist in resolving production/quality issues

• Verify packaging details, carton marks, carton size, and packing methods

• Ensure GTIN-14/UPC barcodes are printed correctly and scannable

• Coordinate shipment and booking

What we're looking for

• Fluency in Mandarin (both written and spoken)

• Minimum D3/S1 education, open to various relevant majors

• Minimum 2–3 years experience as Merchandiser, Export Merchandiser, Overseas Merchandiser, Production Merchandiser, or similar position in manufacturing companies

• Experience in toy/plush manufacturing is an advantage

• Experience handling international buyers/customers

• Understanding of PO → Sample → Production → QC → Inspection → Shipment workflow

• Strong coordination and follow-up capabilities

• Attention to detail in document, product specification, packaging, and order detail verification

• Ability to work with targets and deadlines

• Willing to be placed in KEK Batang, Central Java
