Next JS Developer

PT ABISHAR TECHNOLOGIES INDONESIA is seeking a talented Next JS Developer to join our growing technology team on a contract basis. Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using Next.js and React frameworks

• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards

• Collaborate with designers and backend developers to implement user interfaces and integrate APIs

• Optimise application performance and ensure responsive design across all devices and browsers

• Implement server-side rendering and static site generation using Next.js capabilities

• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members

• Debug and troubleshoot issues, ensuring quick resolution and minimal downtime

• Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing within the development team

• Stay updated with the latest web development trends and technologies

What we're looking for

• Proven experience with Next.js and React development, with at least 2-3 years of professional web development experience

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript

• Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web design principles

• Experience with state management solutions such as Redux or Context API

• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and experience integrating third-party services

• Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git

• Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest or React Testing Library

• Understanding of web performance optimisation and SEO best practices

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail

• Preferred: Experience with deployment tools, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms such as Vercel or AWS

• Preferred: Familiarity with progressive web applications (PWA) and mobile-first development
