Medical Advisor

About : Provide medical advisory and recommendations to support healthcare claims management, medical cost control, provider management, and employee health and well-being in accordance with applicable medical standards and regulations.

Responsibilities:

1. Review and provide medical recommendations on healthcare claims, medical treatments, and treatment costs.
2. Provide medical consultation and advisory to employees, including recommendations based on their medical conditions and needs.
3. Evaluate healthcare provider services and performance, and identify opportunities for medical cost efficiency and optimization.
4. Support medical audits, claim reviews, concurrent reviews, and the identification of potential fraud, abuse, and overutilization.
5. Review Medical Check-Up (MCU) results and provide recommendations related to fitness for work, return to work, or work restrictions when necessary.
6. Provide recommendations for employee health promotion and preventive programs, as well as support Occupational Health and HSSE initiatives.
7. Analyze medical and employee health data and trends, and provide reports and medical insights to support management decision-making.
8. Ensure all medical advisory activities comply with professional medical standards, ethical codes, applicable regulations, and medical data confidentiality requirements.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum Doctor of Medicine / Medical Doctor (MD) degree.
2. Possess a valid Medical Registration Certificate (STR).
3. Minimum 1-3 years of experience as a Medical Doctor.
4. Experience in health insurance, medical claims, medical audit, hospital, occupational health, or healthcare provider management is an advantage.
5. Good understanding of medical review, clinical assessment, healthcare cost management, and occupational health.
6. Strong analytical, communication, advisory, and report-writing skills.
7. High integrity, objectivity, and strong commitment to medical confidentiality.
