ME Staff

About the role

M/E Staff position reporting to M/E Chief or M/E Asst. Chief, working on project-based assignments within the Mechanical and Electrical department.

Key responsibilities

• Cooperate with Estimation Division in making calculations of Cost Summary for Quotation
• Verify customer's order, including specification and scope of work
• Check location of project if necessary
• Make inquiry and request Quotation to subcontractor ME, attaching basic design drawings, scope of work, specification and BQ
• Review and analyze Quotation from Subcontractors
• Receive and check system proposed by Subcontractors
• Compare Quotation of Suppliers and Subcontractors
• Review specification in project
• Check design calculation
• Monitor prices of materials and equipment
• Supervise work of subcontractors on site if necessary

About you

• Bachelor Degree in Mechanical or Electrical from reputable university with GPA 3.00
• Minimum 3 years experience as ME Staff
• Strong understanding of MEP systems
• Able to read drawings of General Mechanical and Electrical of low and high voltage
• Understand basic and government regulations related to mechanical and electrical work
• Familiar with construction materials and tools
• Initiative and communicative, able to work with tight deadline, independent, diligent, able to work as a team, fast learning
• Fluent in English both oral and written
• Able to organize neatly and orderly
• Able to work under pressure and keep to deadline
• Willing to work overtime
