Position: Matcha & Tea Master (Barista)

Location: Maldives

Requirements:

• 2 year's experience working in a matcha bar, tea house, or specialty café.

• Strong knowledge of matcha preparation techniques and tea brewing methods.

• Experience using traditional and modern matcha tools is preferred.

• Knowledge of different matcha grades (ceremonial, premium, culinary).

• Ability to prepare matcha beverages with proper whisking techniques.

• Understanding of Japanese tea culture and tea varieties (sencha, hojicha, genmaicha, etc.).

• Ability to maintain consistency and speed during busy hours.

• Basic inventory awareness and stock handling.
  

Responsibilities:

• Prepare matcha beverages, tea drinks, and specialty tea-based drinks.

• Monitor matcha quality, freshness, and storage conditions.

• Ensure all beverages follow standard recipes and preparation methods.

• Assist in developing new matcha beverages and tea menu items.
