JOB OVERVIEW

PT Bumi New Material, a manufacturing company located in Pomalaa, Southeast Sulawesi, is seeking a qualified Mandarin Translator to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in facilitating effective communication and seamless collaboration between our management team and business partners in China.

This position requires a highly proficient Mandarin speaker with a strong understanding of cross-cultural communication, as well as business practices in both Indonesia and China.

Job Description

• Assist and accompany foreign executives during meetings, site visits, and corporate events.

• Provide accurate real-time Mandarin–Bahasa Indonesia interpretation.

• Translate business and administrative documents in a clear and timely manner.

• Support foreign staff with cultural understanding and local coordination.

• Arrange schedules, business trips, and meeting logistics as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in any major.

• Proficient in Mandarin (both spoken and written); HSK Level 4–6 is preferred.

• Prior experience in translation or interpretation is an advantage.

• Strong communication skills, detail-oriented, and able to work in a professional environment.
