Maintenance Leader

About the role

The Maintenance Leader role involves executing preventive maintenance and routine care on production machinery, electrical systems, control panels, PLCs, sensors, actuators, and automation equipment. This position requires performing damage inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, and testing to ensure machines operate safely and reliably, while managing workshop activities, spare parts inventory, and maintenance documentation in compliance with ISO standards and safety procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Execute preventive maintenance and routine care on production machinery, electrical systems, control panels, PLC, sensors, actuators, and automation equipment
• Perform damage inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, and testing to ensure machines operate safely and reliably
• Handle workshop activities including component repairs, use of work equipment, and maintenance of work area cleanliness and readiness
• Control spare parts requirements and availability, record usage, and communicate procurement needs to supervisors
• Create and update maintenance documentation including checklists, repair reports, damage history, electrical diagrams, and SOPs
• Support ISO audit implementation and ensure maintenance documents and activities comply with applicable procedures
• Apply K3 regulations, work permits, LOTO, and 5R principles in all maintenance work
• Coordinate with production teams and relevant functions to determine repair priorities and support machine reliability and operational efficiency improvements

About you

• Minimum D3/S1 education in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Automation, or related engineering field
• Understanding of industrial electrical systems, control panels, sensors, actuators, electric motors, PLC, and automation systems
• Ability to perform basic to intermediate damage inspections and troubleshooting on production machinery and control systems
• Ability to read technical drawings, electrical diagrams, and ladder diagrams
• Understanding of electrical measurement tools such as multimeter and clamp meter
• Understanding of electrical K3, LOTO, work permits, 5R, and documentation discipline; ISO understanding is an added value
• Good work attitude, attention to detail, discipline, proactivity, ability to work independently and in teams, and communication skills
• Ability to use Microsoft Office for creating reports and simple documentation
• Willing to be placed in Gresik and follow work hour arrangements according to operational needs
