Machine & Infrastructure Engineering Section Head

About the role

Lead and coordinate engineering and maintenance activities for the Automated Sorting System, working with coordinators, technicians, operations, IT, and vendors to resolve technical issues and ensure system reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate engineering and maintenance activities for the Automated Sorting System

• Coordinate with Coordinators, Technicians, Operations, IT, and vendors/OEMs to resolve technical issues

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for complex issues involving PLC, HMI, Industrial Networks, sensors, and control systems

• Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and provide improvement recommendations to enhance machine reliability and availability

• Review and oversee Preventive Maintenance and Corrective Maintenance activities for the Automation System

• Conduct technical reviews of Automation System modifications, improvements, and projects

• Support the evaluation of critical spare parts, vendor performance, and Automation tools and equipment requirements

• Manage technical documentation, PLC/HMI backups, system standardization, and knowledge management for the Automation System

• Provide coaching and competency development for technicians in the field of Automation

• Provide on-call technical support as required to ensure the continuity of 24/7 Mega-hub operations
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree (S1) in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or another relevant engineering discipline

• Minimum 6 years of professional experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Industrial Automation

• Hands-on experience with Siemens PLC and TIA Portal

• Strong understanding of troubleshooting PLC, HMI, sensors, and electrical control systems

• Proficiency in conducting Root Cause Analysis (RCA)

• Proven experience in leading or coordinating technical teams

• Ability to work independently and make sound technical decisions

• Willingness to work on-call as required

• Willingness to be based in Tangerang
