Lifting Engineer

Job Description

• Develop and finalize comprehensive lifting documentation, including detailed Lifting Plans, Method of Procedure (MOP), and Lifting Schedules.

• Execute load calculations, rigging arrangements, and equipment selection tailored for critical data center equipment (e.g., Diesel Generators, Cooling Towers, and chillers).

• Perform technical inspections and evaluations of cranes, lifting gear, and rigging accessories prior to site deployment.

• Establish and enforce Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and risk assessments for all Data Center lifting operations.

• Supervise and oversee on-site lifting operations to ensure strict adherence to approved plans, MOPs, and safety standards.

• Lead site coordination with Project Manager, Client Representatives, Crane Pperators, Riggers, and HSE teams.

• Ensure full compliance with OHS standards, client-specific requirements, and site regulations.

• Identify operational risks and deviations, taking immediate corrective action to ensure zero-incident execution.
  

Requirements

• Min Diploma Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or related technical field).

• 3–5 years of experience as a Lifting Engineer / Lifting Supervisor, with proven experience in Data Center Projects.

• Hands-on experience in handling heavy Data Center utility equipment, specifically Diesel Generators and Cooling Towers.

• Proficient in Drafting Lifting Plans, Method of Procedure (MOP), and Lifting Schedules.

• Fluency in spoken and written English is mandatory for daily coordination and technical reporting.

• Strong technical knowledge of load calculations, rigging dynamics, crane capabilities, and site safety standards.

• Must hold valid Lifting Engineer Certifications from Kemenaker.

• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) for reporting.

• Willing to be assigned to any company project location.
