Legal & Compliance Manager

We are looking for a Legal & Compliance Manager to lead the Company’s legal, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance functions. This role will ensure compliance with Indonesian regulations, particularly OJK requirements, provide legal guidance, and manage legal and compliance risks while collaborating with local management and overseas teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice on corporate, commercial, operational, and regulatory matters, including new products and partnerships.

• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.

• Ensure compliance with OJK and other applicable regulations, maintain corporate documentation, and update internal policies and SOPs.

• Oversee AML, CFT, CPF, KYC, CDD, EDD, sanctions screening, and transaction monitoring requirements.

• Manage regulatory reporting, examinations, audits, and inquiries, including coordination with regulators and external counsel.

• Identify legal and compliance risks, strengthen internal controls and Good Corporate Governance (GCG), and monitor corrective actions.

• Deliver compliance training and provide management with relevant regulatory updates.

• Collaborate with regional and overseas teams to align local requirements with Group policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Law .

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in financial services, including 2–3 years in a leadership role.

• Strong knowledge of OJK regulations, Indonesian financial services regulations, corporate and contract law, GCG, and AML/CFT/CPF requirements.

• Experience in regulatory reporting, audits, examinations, and regulatory engagement.

• Strong legal drafting, negotiation, analytical, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

• Fluent in written and spoken English, with the ability to work independently and collaborate across functions and overseas teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in fintech, P2P lending, digital financial services, digital assets, cryptocurrency, banking, or capital markets.

• Direct experience working with OJK and multinational or regional teams.

• Familiarity with personal data protection, consumer protection, and technology-based financial services regulations.
