Korean Interpreter

Key responsibilities

• Providing accurate interpretation services during meetings, conferences, negotiations and formal business communications between Korean and Indonesian speakers

• Translating documents, emails, reports and other written communications between Korean and Indonesian languages

• Supporting cross-cultural understanding and communication between Korean management and local Indonesian staff

• Assisting with the onboarding and orientation of Korean personnel joining the company

• Accompanying Korean visitors and stakeholders during site visits and business activities

• Maintaining confidentiality and professional discretion when handling sensitive business communications

• Coordinating with relevant departments to ensure interpretation services are scheduled and delivered efficiently

• Providing cultural guidance and advice to support effective international business relations

What we're looking for

• Fluent proficiency in both Korean and Indonesian languages, with native or near-native competency in at least one language

• Proven experience as an interpreter or translator, preferably in a corporate or business environment

• Strong understanding of Korean and Indonesian business culture and protocols

• Excellent listening, communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to convey complex information accurately

• Professional demeanour and ability to maintain confidentiality in all business communications

• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple interpretation assignments

• Flexibility and availability to support ad hoc interpretation needs as required

• Knowledge of business terminology and familiarity with administrative and operational contexts

• Certification in interpretation or translation, or formal training in language studies, is highly desirable
