Requirements :

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Engineering (Electrical, Physics, Materials, Mechanical) or related disciplines.

• Minimum 10 years of experience in testing laboratories or certification bodies.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in middle to senior managerial positions.

• Strong working knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 and ISO/IEC 17065 management systems.

• Technical familiarity with IEC 61215 & IEC 61730 standards.

• Proven capability in Risk Management, Business Process Management, Financial & Budget Control, and Strategic Planning.

Description :

As the Business Unit Head, you will report directly to the Director/CEO and hold full operational, technical, commercial, and financial accountability for the business unit. Your core responsibilities include:

1. Strategic Business & Financial Management

   • Formulate business strategies, approve annual work plans/budgets, and manage major investment decisions for the lab and LSPro.

   • Drive business growth to achieve revenue and profitability targets while building strong relationships with regulators, clients, and stakeholders.

2. Operations & Quality Systems Supervision

   • Oversee daily operations across technical testing, certification, commercial, and finance teams.

   • Ensure strict implementation and effectiveness of management systems (ISO/IEC 17025 & ISO/IEC 17065), management reviews, risk evaluations, and internal/external audit follow-ups.

   • Uphold principles of impartiality, independence, and confidentiality across all operational and certification processes.

3. Organizational Leadership & Team Management

   • Direct and evaluate the performance of Laboratory Supervisors, LSPro Supervisors, Commercial, Finance, and administrative support personnel.

   • Drive human resource planning, competency development, and continuous organizational improvement.

   • Retain authority to pause operations if risks impact service quality, safety, or testing/certification integrity.
